Festival & Symposium: Fri, 09.10.2026 – Thu, 15.10.2026
Once again this year, FRATZ International and Offensive Tanz are cooperating to make young dance more visible to Berlin audiences and to exchange views with international trade visitors on artistic-aesthetic and structural questions. From 9 to 15 October 2026, this year's FRATZ Festival with theatre and dance for the youngest will take place at various venues in Berlin.
Opening of the artistic residence
Offensive Tanz und FRATZ invites you to an informal exchange on intergenerational forms of dance for young audiences on Saturday, 10 October 12 to 13:30 at Podewil. This event is also the start of our first residency in cooperation with the FELD Theater for young audiences. The artists Lea Martini and Eva-Martina Günther present their research project ‘Ein kreis. almost rund’. Interested parties are invited to discuss various formats and experiences with intergenerational work together.
The Great Slam Battle
On November 14, 2026 from 7:30 pm, the 6th edition of the Poetry Dance Battle will take place at Theater Strahl: Poetry Slam meets Dance Battle, words meet movements. What happens when dance and word meet and how can they lure each other out of their comfort zone?
The next PURPLE dance festival will take place from 16 to 24 January 2027 in Berlin.

With the Offensive Kulturbus, children and young people travel free of charge and safely from school or kindergarten to the theatre and back again.
In cooperation with 91 Berlin venues for young audiences, Offensive Tanz provides schools and kindergartens with free transport to the cultural venue for young audiences.
Our goal is to provide children and young people with a barrier-free and equal access to art and culture. With the Offensive Kulturbus, we are particularly targeting educational institutions whose location and connection make it difficult or impossible to visit performances.
