With the Offensive Kulturbus, children and young people travel free of charge and safely from school or kindergarten to the theatre and back again.
In cooperation with 85 Berlin venues for young audiences, Offensive Tanz provides schools and kindergartens with free transport to the cultural venue for young audiences.
Our goal is to provide children and young people with a barrier-free and equal access to art and culture. With the Offensive Kulturbus, we are particularly targeting educational institutions whose location and connection make it difficult or impossible to visit performances.
Since the start of the project in autumn 2021, 85,000 young people have already been transported with the Offensive Kulturbus.
The funding for the Offensive Kulturbus project will initially be provided by the Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion until the end of 2027.

The Offensive Kulturbus is a subproject of the Offensive Dance for Boys Audience, which is dedicated to strengthening the young dance. Since its foundation in 2018, it has been committed to ensuring that young spectators between the ages of 0 and 18 come into contact with dance - for example in the form of performances, workshops, battles or through our dance ambassadors.
If you would like to book a cultural bus ride, please contact the cultural location of your choice. Book the presentation visit for your group there with the words ‘transport by cultural bus desired’. Please consider the required number of people.
The respective cultural location will send you the necessary documents for the booking. As soon as you send them back to the cultural place filled out, your request to us is binding and you agree to our > Terms and Conditions. You will receive a confirmation of receipt (not yet an order confirmation) with the request to check the data.
We check your request for proportionality and capacity with our external bus companies. You will then receive an order confirmation with all relevant data. Please note that the processing of enquiries usually takes at least 5 working days.
