The Great Slam Battle
On November 14, 2026, the 6th Theater Strahl will take place. Poetry & Dance Slam Battle Words meet movements. What happens when dance and spoken word meet and how can they lure each other out of their comfort zone?
For this extraordinary evening, actors from the dance scene come together with poetry slammers on the big stage in Theater Strahl. In several rounds they compete alone, against each other and in dance-poetry duos and thrilled the audience and the jury with their art. The whole thing is accompanied again by the charming beats of the well-known Berlin rapper and beatboxer Clorophil.
It's about you too! As an audience jury, you decide which contribution will win the evening.
We are looking forward to another exciting evening with rhythms, moves and words, touching stories, impressive performances and completely new fusions of dance and poetry!
We end the Slam Battle with the beats of Dj Achraf at a party.
Participate: You want to be a *Slammer:in, Rapper:in, Comedian, Improv-Theater:in or Dancer:in? Then register by 6.11. at Florian mitmachen@theater-strahl.de.
Participants: Please be on site at 7 p.m. on the day of the event. The event starts at 19:30.
As a slammer:in you must have prepared two texts of 3 minutes each for the battle.
